SUBJECT: Appointment of New Country Chief
Dear Friends,
I’m pleased to share with you that Dr. Khorsheda Akter Retina joining hand with UDiON Foundation as Bangladesh Country Chief reporting directly to me.
Dr. Retina has accepted the position effective January 6, 2014. Retina comes to us with a wealth of experience and educational background, she completed her Masters in International Public Health from The University of Sydney, Australia and MBBS from Bangladesh Medical College, University of Dhaka. Dr. Retina serves as Assistant Professor at Enam Medical College and Hospital.
She was previously the in-House physician for BanglaLink and Medical Officer, Physician Department at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in addition she served as an Honorary Medical Officer, Surgery, OBS & GYNAE Department at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
Dr. Retina will work closely with the leadership team. I’m excited about Retinas decision to join UDiON Foundation leadership team. Please join me in welcoming her to the UDiON family in her new role.!
